Andrea Vilarino is New York City based makeup artist specializing in character design. From an early afe she was involve with a Theatre Production as an Elf for a kids show in Plaza del Caribe, Ponce. She was fascinated how the makeup artist where creating a character and how it made her become the character that she was made to be. Andrea was also amazed of the AMC series of the Walking Dead. It was fascinating of the different types of stages of a Zombies life that she began exploring the world of Syfy, Fantasy, Art and Realism.

This enchantment with Syfy, Fantasy, Art and Realism led her to become an Actress for several musical production. One of her biggest roles that made her become the character from the moment she got her makeup done until she took it off was "Terk" from Tarzan the musical. She felt that without the makeup she wasnt completely "Terk," once she got her makeup done she transformed herself in the hysterical best friend of Tarzan , "Terk." After Andrea finish she attended to Jacksonville University where she earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. It also there that she had first introduction to the trasnformative and magic use of makeup in film and stage as key Makeup artist.

Andrea moved to New York City  where she attended the makeup Designory (MUD), completing the Master's program. It was during this intesive training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots and desinged a range of characters. She worked on several character and fantasy short films and events with a range of upcoming directors and talented casts. And has brought her whimsical style to editorial spreads in local and different states magazines.

Andrea has worked in several companies like Premier Educational Institute ass a Makeup Professor and giving FX Makeup Seminar like Prosthetics making, sculpting, prosthetic application, Face Cast, etc.. Also she worked in Buschgardens Williamsburg as a Technician Makeup Artist for "Howls Scream" doing almost all the makeups in the scares zones mostly using makeup, prosthetics and airbrush paint; and lab work like; prosthetic making, baldcap making (latex base), prosaide tattoo prosthetic prep, and so it continues. In the next year 2023 working in disney world in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Children from 3-12 years old; doing hair for childreen (no cutting just hairstyling), simple makeup and simple nails.

She looks foward to evolving and refining her art and designing more intricate and magical characters. She continues to seek out those opportunities to bring to life characters and inspire others in the same way she was inspired as a child.
